Every year from spring to fall, I temporarily return to Japan from Singapore and travel to various islands. From Kokura Port, I can go to two inhabited islands.
When I was waiting at the cash register of Don Quijote in Kokura, an elderly male customer found his wallet and smartphone, which had been left behind, and handed them to the clerk. A young female customer (with her husband and child) returned in a hurry and received them from the clerk. A city with many good citizens is a safe city, right?

Siroya(シロヤ) usually has a long queue, but when I went there before 5:00 p.m., there were no customers. I had the impression that most of the merchandise inventory was available around noon. Specialty items were available for purchase. Chinese-speaking customers were also lined up.
Kokura Castle is the only castle in Japan that can be entered at night!
