I went to Marina Bay Sands on New Year’s Day, but there was a lot of garbage strewn all over the lawn, and it was cloudy and the sun was not visible until after 8:30 AM. It was raining around 7:00 AM.
Living in Singapore
Not a day goes by that I don’t see trash on the streets.
I don’t see garbage on the streets!
There was no trash on the streets and it was rather clean in Malacca! The tap water was also less chlorinated than Singapore and my hair and skin came back to life.
There was a group of people doing yoga at the first sunrise on the lawn of Marina Bay, which is full of such garbage.
Don’t you mind the garbage?
I don’t know if people feel that way, but it’s a part of the beautiful first day of the year. I don’t know if they are people who feel that “garbage is part of the beautiful first day of the year, it just needs to be there, that’s all”, but it is somewhat incomprehensible to me.
The sunrise was more beautiful at the harbor than at Marina Bay Sands.
As a resident of Singapore, I experience every year that other areas by the sea are better for enjoying the first sunrise of the year.
The following is a port in the Central area of Singapore.
